16 April 2021

There comes a time, in which the collective subconscious, the subconscious, the conscious, and the individual, all collide with dazzling clarity.

I believe we are in one of those times.

Dr. Carl Jung wrote about how people are all connected on a level of which we are not even aware.  I understand that - I believe it's called humanity.  All of humankind is currently at a more conscious awareness of the collective.  We see and interact with geo-political and social issues - and how they bleed into personal issues - like we haven't since the 60s.

What else needs to happen?

How many ways can humans prove that they are not evolving?

So, here's a thought:  go outside.  Breathe in the air.  Be in yourself, and not in others.  Watch the sky and listen to the birds.  Pick a flower and inhale it.  Turn an an album.  Dance.  Sing.  Be kind.  Love.  Read transcendental poetry.  Get your camera out and point it at nature.

My connection to humanity is different now than it was when this pandemic began.  I can see more clearly, but my head in a social fog.  My lucid dreams keep telling me that I am frustrated.  Duh.  Life is frustrating right now.  As of today, 5.430 people have died from gun violence in America.  Do the math:  52 people/day.

We are we.

We the people ...

If you feel the urge to murder people, start with yourself.

Or ... as Albert Camus used to ask:  "Should I have a cup of coffee or kill myself?"

Get to the point where coffee is the right answer.  And then move on, and let other people live their own lives.
